Retail Gloves
Although
Bunzl sold disposable gloves to industrial markets for years, this
product is their first venture into retail markets. Marketing Alliance
helped Bunzl understand the retail market with a study of existing
competitive products, their packaging and pricing. We pointed out
the lack of a “family” of gloves for different uses.
To fill this gap, Bunzl developed a line of gloves for most major
home and office uses. The next challenge was to develop a package
design that would break through the retail store clutter. Marketing
Alliance contracted a New York artist to create this series of whimsical
drawings showing the product uses. We used bright colors to complete
the “family” look to the packaging for a very successful
outcome.
